swirls

In my Drawing III class we are working with non-traditional media.  I woke up one morning and started drawing on the condensation on my bedroom window.  On the balcony that this leads to there was a black door.  I took the photo so that the door was in the background.  I actually think that this one was with a railing behind it.  That is why it fades at the top and bottom.

Snow melt

This is the snow melting on the deck.  It created a  gorgeous figure-ground relationship.  It is also a beautiful example of change.  The next morning it was mostly all gone.

I have not posted in a couple days.  I do have new pics on my camera; however, I struggle getting them from my camera to my computer on a daily basis.  Here is one for now (I didn't take it today)...grrr never mind it is not uploading.

Another Drain

This is an image from high school.  I thought it was interesting.  It was off between two doors into the building.  there was a huge ant hill next to this.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I absolutely loath ants.  It was a scary picture to take.  That is one thing about photography (I don't know if it is good or bad), nevertheless it is a thing about photography.  Anyways, this thing, it is interesting that no one knows what I was thinking as I was taking this picture.  It's not important to the story.  Is there a story?  Do I still need to create a story?  Does the story come from a compilation of images such as this blog?  I don't know any of these answers or even if they are important, but this photo made me think of them.  It seems sad and lonely to me yet I was scared and having fun.  I apologize ahead of time...I am not going to proof read this...
